Hi friends! I hope this post finds you all well. I was just strolling through my recent pics and noticed that they all have a little story behind them (ground breaking right?) I wanted to share a few and hopefully they will bring a smile to your face as they do to mine.
We recently took a trip to the zoo. Carsten had a blast…not because of the animals…but because of all the kids running around.
“Look at the cool bird Carsten!”
“Hey…where’s that kid running off too.”
On another note, does the zoo depress anyone else? The animals looked so…bored.
He really enjoyed the carousel…
…for the first 3 rounds. The next 8, not so much.
We lost our power one evening last week. It was around dinner time. We decided to pick up some take out and have a little picnic at the park.
It was so nice. Maybe our power will be “shut off” at least once a week from now on.
I often post cute little pictures of my boy snoozing on me onto my Instagram feed. What all of my IG friends never see are the pics I text to me husband.
Lol…Carsten is going to think his ma is crazy when he comes across these pics.
My hubs and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary this month. Feels more like 40. 😉
I kid…I kid. Seriously though, we’ve both grown so much and have changed so much already in these past few years. It’s so amazing to look back on.
Since we live on a mountain and we no longer have the best land to garden on, I decided to try my hand at container gardening. I have tomatoes, strawberries, cukes, zucchini, yellow squash, and a variety of herbs.
Wish me luck!
This next pic is all about choosing your battles.
I was able to get ready in record time thanks to those distractions.
It cracks me up the way this boy has been falling asleep lately.
Can you believe that a couple of weeks ago, we decided to sell it all and buy an RV to travel around everywhere? I was amazed at how neat RVs are.
Then, the very next day we received some unexpected news that brought our dream to a temporary halt.
It’s so fascinating watching this little boy explore his curiosities. Here he pulled a leave off the plant and kept trying to stick it back on. Too funny.
We have really been enjoying this sweet Georgia weather. We’ve been taking advantage of every second and spending our time outside before the mosquitos come out to play.
Until next time!
Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!
