Hiya!
Sooo…waayyy back in November I shared my plans for the nursery. I’m happy to finally share the finished room!
Just kidding.
The room isn’t really finished. I still have a few things that I want to do…like hang the mobile that I made and I have a couple of things that still need to hang on the wall. Anyway, those things are not ever going to get done because we are moving.
Next week.
Yeah.
Surprise!
Here is the inspiration board that I came up with 6 months ago…
for now…
until we move…
The room is super dark with its only window facing woods and it doesn’t get much sunlight resulting in some pretty dark pics.

My bad.
Crib->Target
Polka Dot Sheets->Babies R Us
Stuffed Hedgehog->Ikea
Monogrammed Fox->Etsy Winter Petals (Currently 20% off select pillows)
Fuzzy Throw->Homegoods
Aspen Tree Pillow->Home Decorators
Tree Wall Decal->Etsy NouWall
That wall decal was a doozie to apply. Oh and guess what? It isn’t reusable.
Awesome.
*sighs*
Glider->Target
Pillow->Target
Pouf->Kohls
Side table->Target (Original price was $65…I got for $20…holla!)
Twig lamp->Homegoods
Twig clock->Pier One
Frame->Kohls
Rug->Rugs USA (Purchased during 70% off sale…double holla!!!)
This chair was pretty useless in the beginning, but Carsten likes to be rocked in it now. It’s pretty comfy, but not wide enough to easily use the boppy pillow while nursing.
I sort of just threw some crates in that corner to create some temporary storage…hoping to find some shelves to use instead. I used the existing blackout curtains and that scrap fabric banner is left over from the gender reveal party.
The heart you see on the wall next to the closet door is made from some pregnancy pics that I shared on Instagram.
I loved being pregnant. If anyone needs a surrogate mother then I’m your gal.
Kidding.
On the other side is the changing dresser and the gallery wall that I already shared. I dread having to rehang all of those pictures up again. Ugh. I may have to hire that task out. Any takers?He loves to stare at the bright colors in the 4 pics in the middle while I change his diaper…that is, when he can pull his eyes away from the fan.
Love this dresser we got from Babies R Us. It’s pretty much perfect for us. The changing pad cover came from Etsy->Ivie Baby.
The dresser is the home of all kinds of loot…including our growing stash of cloth diapers. Our little man’s skinny legs are just now getting plump enough to fit into them.
Lastly, we have the closet. It’s pretty massive compared to the closet in our new house. Hoping all of his stuff will fit. If not, mama’s going to have to get creative.
I have to share this adorable wreath that a friend of mine made for me…
The frame says, “Once upon a time, the forest welcomed its prince.” Pretty cute huh?
So, how do you guys like it? I think I did pretty good keeping with my inspiration. Pretty much everything in here is new, but you better believe everything was on sale! I wished that I could show you the cute mobile that I made, but the craft room has already been packed up! Maybe, I can share the new “completed” nursery after we move. I’m sure I will get it “completed” in…ohhh…about a year.
Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you all have a super weekend!

I love Carsten’s nursury! You did a fabulous job on it and now I can’t wait to see pics of the new house! How exciting (and a little exhausting, I’m sure) Good luck with the move!

This room is darling! I love all the little touches — especially the garland atop the curtains. The pops of orange are nice, too. Fantastic!
