Hello friends.
The “devils dandruff” has officially melted away and we will be in the 60s all week here in GA. Hooray!
Our sweet munchkin has been here for 2 weeks now. TWO WEEKS! I swear he has already doubled in size…or so it seems. See how sweet he is…
I’m not sure if he’s throwing up gang signs or cursing me out in sign language. Probably neither…because I am his mommy…and he is my sweetheart…
Pretty sure that I am going to regret posting that pic.
Let’s talk nursery…still not finished. Surprise. I did manage to complete the “gallery” wall…think that’s what they’re calling it these days. So let’s take a looksie…
I really like the way it turned out. It rolls right along with the woodland theme I had planned and includes some special DIY crafts to make it a one-of-a-kind collection for my one-of-a-kind baybee.
It all started with these woodland prints that I found on Etsy.
I thought they were super cute. The frames and the “Be Silly” sign are from Target.
My mom got me this frame.
I made my own matte out of some craft paper.
Is it bad that I paid money for a wood slice? Technically…two wood slices.
I cut out the letter “C” from a sheet of moss found at a craft store. Don’t ask which one…they all run together after a while.
This green frame I’ve had for years.
I hot glued more (bought) wood chips to the frame and stuck on some letter stickers. Can you tell what that little thing is in the corner of the frame? Give up? It’s supposed to be a mushroom. I made it out of felt and buttons. Perhaps a near ‘shroom fail? Ah well…close enough.
I made this deer head print by painting a stencil with a gold paint pen onto black craft paper. Found free stencil here.
I could have covered this wall with so many inspiring Bible verses, but finally settled on this one.
Just a simple print that I made using PicMonkey. It’s easily interchangeable too! Frame is from TJ Maxx. I like the way it looks furry. I chose this verse because it is a reminder that although I will try very hard to be the best mother that I can be…ultimately…God is in control.
I also got this little square frame from TJ Maxx.
Again, I printed this deer from the same place as the deer head. I then decided to glue pompoms to it. Why not?
Lastly, I painted another wood slice with chalkboard paint.
Another fun little project that I can change up every now and then.
Just a few more projects to finish up. He just might be a toddler by the time it’s complete…or in college. 😛
How do you like it so far? Don’t make fun…I know some of the frames are crooked! Hanging frames is tough stuff!
Have a great week you guys and thanks for visiting!
