Sooo…I just realized Christmas is one week away. ONE WEEK AWAY PEOPLE! Where in the world have I been?
I know that I have already posted today, but I really wanted to get this post out there…you know…before Christmas is over! I wanted to participate in one of those blogger Christmas home tours, but sadly they are already over. *sad face* Oh well, maybe next year.
*WARNING* There are probably about one million pics in this post…maybe even one million and one.
I’ve shared a few of our rooms already. So, let’s see the rest of the hizzy shall we?
Pulling into our driveway, you’ll pass through a couple of brick mailboxes complete with some Christmas-y swag.
*”Elves at Work” sign found at Kirkland’s this year.
*Swag made from faux garland, mesh ribbon, and ornaments.
Welcome to the Chandlers!
I made this door garland about 3 years ago. I tweak it every year, but I think it might be on its last leg. Mesh just doesn’t pack very well.
*Door mat and elf boot ornaments found at Kirkland’s this year.
Well, come on in! I thought about greeting you at the front door all dressed up as an elf. Then, decided that might be a bad idea. A 7 month pregnant Mexican elf might look a little creepy. We’ll let Bella greet you instead.
Our entryway is pretty small, but I am happy to have a little room to work with.
I made this little twig arrangement this year. I simply stuck a styrofoam ball in the urn and evenly placed the twigs all around the opening. Then, I filled the empty holes with some berry bouquets I found from a craft store.
On the other side sits Miss Curly Toes. She sits and guards the presents under the trees. All three of them… Elves normally freak me out a little, but this one is a cutie…and her eyes don’t follow you as you walk by…
*Elf and hat found at Old Time Pottery
*Pillows from Belks (could DIY these!)
Every year I pull out our yearly Christmas pictures for display. I have no idea how this tradition is going to work 40 years from now!
I know this seems like an odd place to put a Christmas tree, but there is really no other place for it. We normally get a nice 9 footer as our main Christmas tree, but I am the one decorating it and I just really didn’t feel like climbing up and down a ladder. As you can see, this tree is simple and traditional with red, green, and gold bulbs.
My sad attempt at chalkboard art…
Right past our Christmas tree is our Christmas bedroom that I already shared with you.
Our main living area…
*Presents found at Old Time Pottery (cheapest place I’ve seen them)
*Christmas pillow from Belk’s.
Craig became obsessed with these snowmen and wouldn’t leave Pier 1 without them. He really is a big kid at heart…
…but we all already know that don’t we??? 😛
The little dog in the background is clearly not impressed…
Onto the fun mantle!
That white fluffy thing you see…it was kind of a mistake. It was meant to be one thing and then it turned into something else. Oh well! I ended up wrapping a frame with a string of lights and then I added the “snow” around it. It probably want make it to the creative frame hall of fame, but it will do for this year. I do love the garland that I made this year. It’s just so happy!
The ornament tree is really a tealight holder, but I decided it was a little boring so I added the ornaments and of course Santa can’t forget our doggies!
*Dog stocking found at Kirkland’s…man they should pay me for this post!
On the other side of the living area is our more subdued sunroom. It has been a favorite of yours so far!
Next up, is our super festive Christmas kitchen! I had the most fun decorating this room!
The dining room…
We are finishing up with the powder room…oh yes…I went there.
Go here to see how I made the white wreaths!
Hallway table…
Go here to see how I made the Instagram picture frame!
Whew! That about does it! Now…the real question is…who wants to come help take it all down after Christmas??? *crickets*
It is now probably nighttime by the time you finish looking through all these pics, so let’s see what it all looks like in the dark!
Magical!
Thank you all so much for visiting! I really hope that you enjoyed our fun, festive, and cheerful home as much as we do!
Many blessings to you all this holiday season!!

So fun and festive, I love it! Also, we should consider doing a link up party together! (Maybe after the holidays are over!) Email me if you want to talk about it!
Thank you! And that idea is something to consider!
Wow! I’m quite impressed. Your house looks amazing!
Thank you Jennifer!
It’s ALL beautiful. I particularly like that you drag out the ‘old’ Christmas photos to display each year. 😀 And the little elf and pillows on the bench below are so cute. For what it’s worth, I think your garland looks great ~ like it’s brand new. From the photos you can’t tell the mesh is anything but fluffy and new looking. Such a pretty job you did. You’ve managed to make every area of your home festive and lively and pretty. Thanks for sharing it.
Btw, I found you through betweennapsontheporch. Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much Pam! You’re right, the garland doesn’t really look as flat as I thought in the pictures! Thank you so much for stopping by!

What a fun home you’ve created! I really enjoyed looking at your home tour, thanks for sharing!
I think it’s pretty fun too! Thank you so much for stopping by!
I like the front of your house the most and your cute little doggies!
Lynnie
Thank you Lynnie…I’m pretty partial to the doggies as well 😉
Luisa, you are just the cutest pregnant mom ever! How you were able to find the energy to decorate every inch of your house when you’re seven months pregnant is beyond impressive! Your house is so beautifully festive – hope you’re having a party or two so people can enjoy it in person! Merry Christmas!
Thank you so very much for your sweet comment Kris! Seriously, will probably need a little help taking it all down…ha! Merry Christmas to you too!
Visiting from The Dedicated House Make It Pretty Monday. Your Christmas décor is beautiful. BTW, I love the wreaths you made for the powder room. I’m going to try my hand at one next year. Yours are certainly an inspiration. I love lots of lights and I love how they look at night. I sometimes wish we could keep them up all year, but then, they wouldn’t be special anymore then. So I’ll take mine down at the end of January Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much Jan! I love the lights too! You are probably right though…we probably wouldn’t appreciate them as much if they were up all year long. Hope that you had a very merry Christmas!
