Hi everyone! How’s your week starting out? I’ve been seeing a lot of sick kiddos on Facebook lately…boo! (Keeping them all in my prayers!)
Hopefully, this post finds you well and enjoying this holiday season.
Have you finished Christmas shopping? Neither have I. If I can’t get into town first thing in the morning, then I don’t go at all! Bunch of crazies out there! I sound like an ole’ lady don’t I?
I know that a few of my readers…okay…maybe one…or two(?) of my readers out there have some backyard chickens. This post is for you. Our three little hens have all finally started laying and we are officially getting more eggs than we can eat. Well…it could be that I haven’t been a very good wifey and haven’t been consistent with making breakfast every morning. Either way, we have a few extra eggs and so I decided to gift them. I mean, who wouldn’t love to get a few fresh free-range eggs as a gift?
I just wanted to share this idea with ya along with the gift tags that I made!
I started off by recycling a few egg cartons that I saved (before we got hens)…just for this occasion.
I tore off the original sticker and replaced it with a cute little label/tag thingy.
Fill that bad boy with some fresh eggs!
Tie it up with something cute!
This is a closeup of the original label that I created using PicMonkey…
If you have a few extra eggs and are interested in gifting them, here is a printable for you minus the “Love, The Chandler Chicks”…because that would be weird if your chicks are not Chandler.
Just right click printable and then save to your computer. You should then be able to open printable in your file and print.
Does anyone else geft there eggs? Nothing compares to them!
Happy day to you all and thanks so much for visiting!

I love that you have hens! What a neat idea for a gift and that label you made is so cute! I love practical gifts like this.
Thanks Lisa! They have been a hit so far. Wish I had more to give!
Super cute! And eggs are a great gift!
Thank you! I agree :-)))))
