Happy Monday friends! Hoping everyone had a wonderful family and friend filled weekend…and if not…then…well…I hope that you enjoyed some much needed time alone. Our whole weekend has been filled with all things Christmas. We have been trying to get the house all Christmasfied so that we can just sit back and enjoy it.
Guess what? The hubs INSISTED to hang the Christmas lights outside. I RELUCTANTLY agreed. You see, Craig does not have much…err…experience with hanging lights. The end result should be interesting. We shall see!!
(If only y’all knew.)
Onto the next room checked off the list…the sunroom. Hooray! I can truly hear the excitement in your voices.
Considering the sunroom has been out of commission the past couple of years, it was nice to be able to decorate it for Christmas again.
(In case you missed the exciting sunroom reno.)
The tree is decorated with neutral colors. (Don’t get used to it. The rest of the house that I will be sharing is certainly not “neutral”! Consider this fair warning :-))
Wreaths are my favorite.
I made two matching wreaths to hang on each door.
How funny is it that we have no idea what others don’t show in their pictures? Note the picture below. On the left is a close up of the wreath and then on the right…
My “vignette” making skills kind of suck. It’s a work in progress people.
Did you guys see that adorable reindeer ballerina? She found me at TJ Maxx. We named her Prancer. Isn’t she sweet? So sweet that she is helping me decorate the tree. Hey…I can use all the help that I can get!
This little plant shelf just sort of became the catchall place for the leftovers. Clearly I have a thing for snowmen. The snowman on the bottom is yelling, “Nothing to see here! There is NOT a dead plant behind me.”
I made that little arrangement on the table a few years ago. Holding on strong.
Does anyone have any tips on photographing a super bright room? Man…what a pain in the rear.
Anywho, thank you so much for taking time out of your sweet days to visit me. I know this little blog isn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but it is my life and I am quiet fond of it
Are you guys all finished with your decorating? P.S. I shared my Christmas bedroom last week!
Wishing you all a wonderful week!!

What a beautiful room! I do love neutral Christmas decorations. If I found Prancer at TJMaxx, I’d snatch her up in a second!
I saw a glimpse of my favorite chandy in the first photo I had looked for months and never could find just the right one, then I saw your sunroom make-over and fell in love with your chandelier.
Thank you Mary Prancer does make us smile! So does the chandelier for that matter! Did you end up getting it?
I am just so in love with that sweet reindeer! It really add so much to the room and it makes me giggle so that is good. Thanks for sharing over at Cozy Little House, have a great evening.
It does add a little personality to the room doesn’t it? I’m so glad that you like her
Wow, your sunroom is stunning! and if Prancer ever comes up missing….it wasn’t me that borrowed her without permission…..LOL
Haha!!! Don’t take her! She would be “deerly” missed…plus, I’m hoping that she will help take the tree down after Christmas!
So gorgeous! And I was actually thinking “these pictures are so bright and pretty. I wish I could take photos like these”. LOVE IT! Your tree topper is adorable too.
Well thank ya! And thank you PicMonkey editing
Oh my goodness! What a gorgeous room! Great photos! I LOVE your ottoman! Do you mind if I ask where you got it? Your tree is so pretty! Sad dead plants! LOL!
Hey Shirley! Thank you so very much for your sweet comment. The ottoman actually came from World Market and it was purchased this year. I am so glad that you enjoyed this post. Thank you again for visiting!
Oh I love World Market! Thank you for the info! Have a great week!
Oh my gosh, that dancing reindeer is hilariously cute! I just love your sunroom. I’m hoping to build one on my house…well, it was supposed to be done by now…hopefully next year. My photo tips would be to wait for overcast days or hang sheers in the windows, or just tape up sheers over the bright windows when you’re shooting. Blessings ~ Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
Thank you very much for your photo tips! I will try them next time. I’ve been getting a lot of fun feedback about Prancer. She seems to be a crowd pleaser Good luck on your sunroom. Ours already existed, but it STILL took a couple of years to get it to our liking. You know how it goes! Thank you so much for visiting!
Looks so beautiful! Love your ornaments!! I did the same with my plants during the summer (with the ladder). So pretty!
Thanks Kathy!
Ooooo, I love your room. It’s so charming, and, I love the colors.
Glad you love it Rosemary! Thank you for your sweet comment

Thank you very much and thank you for the party invite!
I LOVE your sunroom! Prancer is adorable!! Your ottoman with the Christmas runner is great!
Heather
Thank you! Isn’t Prancer the best? The runner on the ottoman was a last minute idea…glad you like it!
Love your sunroom! Such a nice view you have outside. Your Christmas decor looks mighty pretty to me!
Awww…thank you so much!
Luisa,
Hi! I am visiting from Imparting Grace….what a BEAUTIFUL sunroom! Oh my! I love the softness of the colors and your Christmas decor, including those wreaths, is just breathtaking. Thanks for sharing!
Blessings, Debby
Hi Debby! Thank you so much for leaving me such a sweet comment. They always make me smile Thank you so much for visiting!
What a fantastic space for Christmas decorations! It is beautiful!
Sherry
Thank you very much Sherry!
Wow! Love your pretty pretty sun room. My daughter is most impressed with your reindeer ballerina! Beautiful job. Cheers, Catherine
Thank you and your daughter!!
So beautiful! The colors you chose and burlap textures make the inside and outside blend so cozily! I think your vignettes looks great — height and the right balance of textures are two tips from the design world.
Backlighting setting on the camera should save you time editing…now if I could just figure out what to do about the light in our kitchen!
Thank you so much for your tips Tenneil!
Congrats on your feature on Make It Pretty Monday!!
I love your room! The decor is so cozy and festive! And I’m totally crushing on that giant ottoman! Love! You are one of my picks for features this week at Give Me the Goods!
Amber @ Averie Lane
Yaayy! Thank you Amber! I’m so glad you like it
I love this room! If I bring my sleeping bag when I visit, can sleep out there?! Your tree and wreaths are stunning! (& they totally make up for the dead plants !)
Come on over! (But you have to bring something sweet with you!)
I’m in love with this room! Thank you for sharing. You will be one of the features today at the Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. The party will be live in an hour or two. Hope to see your prettiness again at the bash! Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
Woohoo! Thank youuuuuu soooooo very much. I’m honored that you love it
Your room is wonderful! I love your tree- you did a fabulous job with it. That wreath is the cutest too! I think your pictures look fine, but if you have a camera that allows you to go to “manual” mode you change the settings to darken a bit so you can adjust for the lighting.
oooh…thank you for the tips Liz! I’m glad that you like the room
What a beautiful room. I love your tree and all the beautiful decorations. Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs, Beverly

Luisa,
I fell in love with not only your sunroom but also your style when I saw your feature on Kathryn’s blog – it’s beautiful! I’ve just become your latest follower and am excited to see more! Love that little ‘Prancer’ twig deer! And no, I don’t have any great tips on photographing a bright room – my sunroom is windows even on the ceiling, and it’s southern exposure! It’s like white lightning! I hope you’ll stop by and visit – and I’ll be tuning in to your posts, as they’ll now be coming through my reading list.
